29 September 2005 – His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, received the outgoing non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Salem Al-Wahishi. The farewell audience took place at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.

His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation to the envoy for his work over the last two years and wished him success in his future undertakings.

Dr. Al-Wahishi has been non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Brunei Darussalam since March 2003 and based in Jakarta, Indonesia
