24 September 2005 – HRH Crown Prince Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Deputy Sultan receives Her Excellency Wu Yi, the Vice-Premier of the People's Republic of China at the Istana Nurul Iman. Her Excellency is in the country on a three-day official visit.

Accompanying the Vice-Premier at the lstana Nurul Iman were His Excellency Bo Xilai, Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and Her Excellency Yang Yanyi, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. Also attending the audience were the Hon. Pehin Dato Seri Paduka Lim Jock Seng, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Dato Paduka Hj Yusof Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Communications as the minister-in-attendance.

Also present were Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office Pg Dato Paduka Hj Abu Bakar and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Pg Dato Paduka Osman.
