19 February 2008 - By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister’s Office hereby announces that His Majesty has consented to the appointment of the following officers; Datin Paduka Hajah Maimunah binti Dato Paduka Haji Elias, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and His Excellency Doctor Haji Emran bin Bahar; Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York as Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence.
